Our suction bowls and plates work on any smooth surface. If you’re using a textured tray (like the Tripp Trapp), we recommend pairing it with our Suction Sticker for a perfect hold.

Yes! All tableware pieces in the Brightberry Self-Feeding Set are dishwasher-safe, making cleaning quick and easy. The bowls and plates are microwave- and steriliser-safe for added convenience.
Note: the spoons contain a reinforced core, so they’re not microwave or steriliser safe.
Unfortunately, the Tripp Trapp tray has a textured surface, which prevents any suction from working directly on it. However, we’ve got you covered! As the inventors of the Suction Sticker, you can apply it to the Tripp Trapp tray, creating a smooth surface that allows the suction bowl to work just as effectively as on any other smooth surface. Suction solved - mealtime made easier!
The set is ideal from around 6 months (first solids) through toddlerhood. It’s designed to support independent eating, motor skill development, and less mess from the very start.

I bought this set to use for feeding my 5 month old and have been using it for 3 weeks now. These are very well constructed. Beautiful design and I liked that we are not limited to toy looking coloured choices (got the sand white so Bubb would see having similar looking tableware as Mum and Dad). Strong suction (Bubb hasn't been successful in trying to turn the plate, as long as the suction lip is out of reach). I also love the well thought out little heart on the rim of the plates which indicates that the lip to release suction is underneath. It is easy to clean and has not absorbed any smell from the food. The spoons, although well constructed and slightly weighted, is a bit too deep for a young baby to use but I am keeping it until Bubb is old enough to make a good mouth seal around it. Overall, a really good investment and I highly recommend this for parents to get for their kids.
