Hi there! We have a Stokke high chair for our little girl, and the tray has taken a beating because she loves to whack it with her utensils. It has lots of nicks and dents all over it. Great question to ask. Light surface scratches aren't a problem, the sticker still bonds and seals fine. Deeper nicks or heavy texture are different, the sticker can bridge over them and leave small gaps that weaken the suction seal. Given the wear you're describing, the suction sticker should still work, however without seeing a photo it's difficult to say for sure.

Will your suction mat work on wooden tables.

The Suction Sticker can be used on other textured surfaces besides plastic, such as wooden surfaces, to help suction bowls and plates stick effectively. It's important to note that if the wooden tray has a lacquer or coating, there's a chance the sticker might pull it off when removed. We cannot guarantee the sticker will not damage the wooden surface, so we recommend using caution if you decide to use it.
